Following the successful commissioning of our second float glass line in 2007, PFG is currently upgrading its first float line (SP3). This R650-million rand repair and upgrade includes a complete overhaul of the furnace and certain parts of the lehr and annealing line, together with the modernisation of other sections of the line. The project will be completed in September 2009. As part of this process PFG has built up sufficient glass stocks to ensure continuity of supply from our Springs site as well as our Durban and Cape Town depots.
